Bread of Heaven Outreach hosts free drive-thru food distributions for families across rural South Georgia. No I.D. required, no judgment, just groceries and good neighbors.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mobile food distributor hosting free drive-thru food lines. Distribution sites vary from week to week, rotating between Toombs, Montgomery, and Treutlen counties so we can reach families wherever the need is greatest.
An abundance of food is given to each driver to share with other families. One setup per car means a single trip can feed more than one household.

Our lines are simple and dignified. Here’s how to prepare and what to expect.
Sites change weekly. Find the date, county, and address on our Facebook page before you head out.
Please make sure your trunk or back seat is cleared out so volunteers can load your groceries quickly and safely.
It’s a drive-thru, so remain in your vehicle. Our volunteers will direct you and bring the food to you.
Each driver receives plenty to share with neighbors and other families who couldn’t make it that day.

Food donations are welcomed and filtered to families that need a hand up. If you or your business would like to donate food, reach out and we’ll coordinate pickup.

I will never forget the first time I went through the Bread of Heaven line. I told myself I wasn't going to cry. But then they handed me grapes. And I broke. Because in that moment, I realized something so simple had become something I could no longer give my children. Bread of Heaven didn't just give me food that day. They gave me relief. They gave me dignity. They gave me a moment to breathe.
Bread of Heaven helped me feed my children when I didn’t know how I was going to do it on my own.
There was a season where everything I had worked for no longer matched the reality I was living. I had a college degree, a graduate degree, and a heart to serve, but life shifted. I stepped away from my job to care for my adult son, and then my aging parents. In what felt like the blink of an eye, I went from provider to wondering how I would put food on the table.
Food insecurity doesn’t always look the way people think it does. Sometimes it looks like a mother sitting in her car, trying to hold herself together, hoping her children don’t feel the weight she’s carrying.

Because in that moment, I realized something so simple had become something I could no longer give my children. Grapes had become a luxury. And yet, there they were, placed into my hands with kindness, without questions, without judgment.
Bread of Heaven didn’t just give me food that day. They gave me relief. They gave me dignity. They gave me a moment to breathe.
What makes Bread of Heaven so impactful is not just what they provide, it’s how they provide it. You stay in your car. You are not put on display. The quiet dignity they preserve in that process matters more than words can explain. Because when you’re already carrying the weight of “how did I get here,” the last thing you need is to feel seen in a way that deepens that pain.
And yet, even in receiving, they planted something in me to give. I shared what I could, every time I could, because Bread of Heaven isn’t just a food distribution. It’s a community built on compassion, where no one takes more than they need and no one leaves unseen.
They are consistent. They communicate. They show up. And because they do, families like mine don’t have to go to bed wondering how they will make it to tomorrow.
Bread of Heaven is the hands and feet of Jesus in the most tangible way. They meet people in one of their most vulnerable moments and remind them they are not forgotten.
I support Bread of Heaven because I have lived what they do. And I know firsthand they don’t just feed families. Because of them, hunger is met with hope, compassion, and dignity, and that is something worth supporting.
I just received my first boxes in Soperton on Tuesday. I have a lot of health issues that are preventing me from working and I don’t receive EBT or any other assistance at this time. It’s getting harder to manage buying the groceries and we have 5 people in our household. Being able to go and just drive through to get ANY type of food is a blessing. I can’t stand for long periods and I can’t handle the heat so this is perfect for me. Everyone is so friendly and seeing the dedication to helping those of us who are struggling makes me feel a huge sense of community. I’ve been on both sides, I’ve been the volunteer handing out supplies and now I’m the one needing help. Thank you for all of your hard work and I hope to get to a place where I can once again be the one helping others in need.

I thank God for Bread of Heaven, and Lord I thank you for me working with Bread of Heaven, so I won’t be bored at home. It gives me something to do and keeps my muscles in shape, and my health. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
